What is Sade Sati?
Sade Sati is the important Saturn period calculated from the natal Moon sign. It starts when transit Saturn enters the sign immediately before the Moon sign, continues when Saturn transits over the Moon sign, and ends when Saturn leaves the sign immediately after the Moon sign.
Because Saturn normally stays around 2.5 years in one sign, this full cycle covers approximately 7.5 years. That is why it is called Sade Sati, meaning seven and a half years.

Important Note
Sade Sati does not give the same result to everyone. Final judgement should also check Saturn’s position in birth chart, Moon strength, Lagna, running dasha, Ashtakavarga bindus, D9, D60 and benefic/malefic influences. A strong Saturn can give career growth, discipline, stability, property, maturity and long-term success during this period.
